Trisha L. Knaul
Trisha has been a committed educator both at her church and in the homeschooling of her four accomplished children for nearly 3 decades. She has taught children, teens, and adult women, using not only existing curricula but also creating her own. Trisha and her husband of over 30 years, Tim, enjoy traveling, hiking, and hanging out together. One of their favorite activities is spoiling their grandchildren. Her family and close friends have provided her with ideas, prayers, and boatloads of encouragement. Trisha gives God the glory for His guidance as she writes and as she walks through life.
Growing up, Leah's family could often find her climbing trees and playing with her 3 older brothers--all while wearing a skirt. Her favorite past times are doing all things arts and crafts related, writing fiction, and studying her Bible. Since graduating from high school, Leah has been trying to decided what path to take with her life. While she's considering her future, she's exploring the space where her love of the Bible and of writing intersect.
Bev Pomering has been married to her husband, Terry, for over 20 years. Their family includes two boys and two dogs. Bev describes her home as anything but quiet. She works as an administrative assistant in the medical field. In addition to being an avid crafter and gardener, Bev is also active in her church where she focuses her talents on Women's Ministries.
A God-follower for over 45 years, April lives in Ohio with her husband of over 30 years, her parents across the street, and one crazy cat. April loves her job as an instructional designer! She creates interactive learning programs that help people at her organization achieve their career goals. While her full-time job is challenging and rewarding, her passion has always been for her local church. A graduate of Kentucky Christian University, April has long worked with youth and women’s ministry. She has participated in over 45 weeks of Christian Camp, including back packing in places like the Colorado Rockies and the “Grand Canyon of the East” (Pine Creek Gorge, PA). “Walking with God every day is a great adventure. Even though I’ve been on this trail for 45 years, in the light of eternity, I’m just getting started! I can’t wait to go on a journey with all of you!”
In Jeremiah 29:11 God states that He knows the plans He has for us. God has plans. Cindy Snyder knows this truth and has lived by it for many years. She knows that God planned the Christian family she would be a part of. God planned how she would be raised in a church that would have a very strong emphasis on missions and the need for missionaries that would touch her heart and later lead her to a life as a missionary.
She followed that leading from God and was a missionary in Montana with the Rocky Mountain Bible Mission for over 30 years. She ministered with all ages including Bible studies, youth group, children’s clubs, AWANA, Sunday school, retreat speaker, camp cook, and more.
God’s plans included her returning to Illinois in 2015. Here she has found a job, which includes God’s continued plans for her to work in missions. She is now working with Slavic Gospel Association in the USA main office. She feels blessed to share with you.
